Dentoalveolar Surgery/Dental Extractions

  • The UMOMSA faculty offer the safe removal of impacted, damaged, and non-restorable teeth. They also provide sophisticated, safe, and effective anesthesia services in the office including intravenous (IV) sedation and general anesthesia
  • Impacted canine (eye teeth) are teeth that have not erupted spontaneously. Treatment of these teeth will include a combined effort between your orthodontist and the UMOMSA faculty. Once the tooth has been surgically exposed a bracket and chain will be placed so that the orthodontist will be able to move the tooth into proper dental alignment
